The ability to interact with the internet with one click

The bookmarlet that creates magic with a snap (one click). I do enjoy very much Tumblr I even have an active blog Collective interaction which I’m using it pretty much to bookmark interesting stuff about anything that I find informative and fun, however about 1 month ago I step over a site that features a plugin for Wordpress I’m very impressed with the functionality and how easy this plugin makes the Blogging interaction.

Some of the more attractive features of the Plugin:

  • Bookmarklet Access - Use it from any web page
  • Selected Text - By highlighting text on a web page and selecting the bookmarklet, the highlighted text will populate the post box making it that much faster to blog.
  • Image Selection - The images on a page will automatically populate the image box. Clicking on an image in the pop-up window will put that image into your blog post.
  • YouTube Integration - If you are viewing a video on YouTube and click on the bookmarklet, the embed code for that video will automatically be inserted into your blog post.
  • Ability to turn on and off WYSIWYG Editor
  • Ability to set default category per QuickPost Type.

Blog Rush and The Feeds drive exchange

Blog Rush the widget that rule the titles over the blog sphere.

Blog Rush is a very appealing widget with its functionality that compiles feeds and display it from other members that have added the widget on their own sites. Very well done tool that was imminent on creation, after we all much use feeds for pretty well said everything and everywhere related to blogging and data information drive.

Enough intriguing the fact that works on Credits, Referrals, Network, Ratio and Levels of each of these items or combination of. The widget is very popular now on the blog sphere, and promise much regarding its future.

The lack of customization will make improvements come handy. But a great adventure and success appoint the Blog Rush widget as a winner.

“Add This” clean the clutter, monetize the space and give your readers a clean space.

Add This” a widget that totally burned the titles all over the blog sphere and for certain reasons of course, it has been mentioned as one of the more successful bookmark submission tool.

Earlier this month I had reviewed a very cool widget that works as an bookmark submission tool, but also as a link back to top supporters, you can read more about it here “Romlet a widget that loves back!“, however real state its valuable on any site. I’m featuring an “Add This” widget just above the title of this post, it also gives to the blog authors and site owners the feature to track the audience support by displaying valuable statistics about the titles, and bookmark services the audience uses through the “Add This” button functionality.

One not so accurate information that the widget features and is a little bit confusing, is that the statistics report displays what users have the intention of bookmark, but not the final submission results. What exactly that means? well doesn’t track how many bookmarks have really been successfully submitted.

Even with not so accurate and meaningful statistics, its a great tool that allows to use the real state of your blog or site with better purposes either to use the real state for monetizing or for a clean look, worth it to try.

Romlet a widget that loves back!

Romlet, After discovering this widget featured in the popular blog Web Urbanist I’ve decided to give it a try, the widget rocks, bellow are some points that make romlet an awesome blogging tool:

1. Suggested submission to social sites, without been obvious about it.
2. Link back to any blog or site that review or linked to yours.
3. Incentive links and reviews, people that link to a blog that features the widget, can be listed as a referring source.

ShowYourself is a simple to make widget, easy, free and fun utility to help establish your identity across the web. Have a Flickr account and a Facebook and AIM? Combine all your profiles on the web into one attractive widget that you can put on your blog, your myspace or anywhere on the web.

I did a trial and create my own widget, looking good! the great thing about this widget is that the authors made it in a way that with a little bit of knowledge of HTML and/or CSS you can customize it as much as anyone please, however they have a pretty good customization tool implemented ready to work.
